The Una XL 521 / Una X 523 combi Sword Brush cleans boards and panels with heavily contaminated surfaces extremely efficiently on both sides, for example before painting, coating, forming or camera inspection. One Sword Brush of type BIX 102 at the top and one of type BIX 51 at the bottom wipe across the direction in which the boards are transported. With their micro-moistened filaments, they remove even the finest particles from the panel surface using the Ingromat® process. A pressure buffer ensures constant wiping force and optimum cleaning quality. The VEG 25 adjustment unit can be used to move the Sword Brushes up or down, e.g. to adjust them to the panel thickness or for maintenance purposes.
The Ingromat® process
With the patented Wandres Ingromat® wet wiping process, even the finest particles can be effectively removed. A sprayer applies a thin film of Ingromat® (antistatic agent) to the filament surface of the linear brushes. This binds the microparticles, but the surface to be cleaned remains dry. In addition, the brush moistened with Ingromat® destroys electrostatic charges on the surface. The otherwise possible attraction of dust from the ambient air through electrostatics is eliminated.
